How women use their Smartphones

It starts with the alarm in the morning, a third of women look at their phone as soon as they wake up. Then it probably proceeds to either looking at who texted or emailed them last night to the morning news.  Almost all women who have a smartphone look at them on a daily basis.

Research is showing that younger women such as Millennials, and Generation Z (What’s after Z? Alpha) always have their smartphones. This is how they communicate and not so much talking on the smartphone as texting and emailing.  Tablets, laptops, and desktop computers plus a smartphone means that over 60 percent of women own two or more mobile devices and use them on a daily basis.

Not counting using their smartphone as a telephone; Women also use their smartphone constantly as their Camera, Alarm Clock, Calendar, Weather Predictor, Navigator Map, Trip Planner, Shopping, Media News Source, Entertainment, Games, Media Player, Encyclopedia, Cook Book, Work Out Connection, and Communicator for Texting.

Women with Smartphone Cameras

In 2015 this photo went viral because it showed a lone older women in a crowd watching an event and she is the only one that did not have a cell phone camera in her hand. She was just watching the event and at the moment. But it also shows where we are today with technology and have so many devices in one package, our smartphone.

Most women don’t carry a camera anymore. The typical smartphone comes with at least one camera. Some of the most amazing photos are coming from regular people being in the right place at the right time because they have a camera on their smartphone.

There are so many ways to use your smartphone’s camera and this also includes shopping.  The Apps that you can load on your cell phone make that possible. For example, CamFind.com, the world’s first successful mobile visual search engine, allows you to search for anything on your mobile device just by taking a picture.

From the CamFindapp Website “Need help finding something you own but don’t remember exactly where you bought it? Find something interesting while grabbing a coffee and want to buy it for yourself? Snap a picture with www.CamFindapp.com, ask a question about the product in the description of your post, and then receive answers in comments. It’s as easy as that!”

So I took a picture of the cup below with the www.CamFindapp.com App and then click on the shopping cart in the app. Then as the other picture shows the list of mugs that come up then you click on and it takes you to the website to buy it. Wow.

So for me, I put all of my appointments in my Google Calendar with an address. The destination comes up, I click on it and it will sync with my vehicle and talk me to the destination. Wonderful!!
